Don’t let your eyes decieve you; there’s more to this latest McLaren Special Operations P1 than you may initially see. At first site you may just think there’s nothing new going on here compared to earlier versions, like that introduced in 2013, but MSO did a fair amount to upgrade the look and feel of their flagship supercar. Over time, McLaren has the goal of introducing a full carbon fiber body P1 edition, but, for now, this take sees exposed carbon fiber body panels paired with chrome-finished sides coated with a hot orange tint. All of this, of course, leads up to the model’s production finale quickly approaching with the roll-out of the 375th and final unit, which is expected to pack even more bespoke options for those lucky enough to claim one.
